Oh Captain, My Captain!

On Tuesday, I will be having a big shindig to celebrate my promotion to Captain. Woohoo! Well I have never been one for the pomp and circumstance, but I think I am getting into it this time. Previously, I have always been in a position over a great many people that I outranked. I didn't want to lord it over them. I just wanted to get the rank pinned on and get back to work. This time I am surrounded by peers and for the most part, I am the one who is the lower ranking. With this promotion, I will be on the same level with most of my coworkers. So, let's celebrate and have some fun. I am going to be at this rank for some time so I am going to enjoy this a little.
